Anna Milewski is a sociology PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests are in political and comparative and historical sociology, specifically the role of collective identifies and beliefs in collective action. Previous to coming to UW-Madison, she was a research assistant for the Health Care Cost Institute in Washington, D.C. where she worked on projects on variation in health care spending and utilization. She received a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University where she majored in sociology and economics.
